Bali

Filed in Holiday · Comment?

This is gonna be a long entry of our whole Bali, Indonesia, experience. Bali is very surreal, especially the beaches. 6 days 5 nights aren’t enough to do a lot of activities, we still long to go and do many things. The locals are friendly as well as the tourist. At some point, you feel so welcome & safe because everyone seems to know each other. Your days will be filled with greets & smiles from all over the world & all walks of life. We’ll definitely do a comeback.

Phuket, Thailand 2008

Phuket, Thailand
:!: Warning: Image heavy!
FULL GALLERY THIS WAY PLEASE!

Day One
Hair Braids, Bowling, Exploring Patong.

( ONE )

Day Two
We went to Phi Phi Island (Maya Bay, Monkey Bay etc) to Snorkel & later at night, we watched movie to relax ourselves. On this unfaithful day, I accidentally “drowned” my camera at our last stop. My camera is dead now. Despite that, the activities made up for it. The cinema was cheap and the sofas were cosy.

( TWO )

Day Three
Day 3 was a lot of fun. We did a lot of activities and exploring since we rented a car. Go Kart, Paintball, Waterfall, Prontep Cape View Point. Being at the view point was splendid. I feel so carefree! Nature is magnificent!

( THREE )

Day Four
We haven’t had enough of island visit & snorkeling so we decided to visit Raya Island & Coral Island. After that, we went to Phuket Fantasia. FantaSea was very worth it. It’s really recommended if you were to go to Phuket. It’s like the Disney of Phuket. A lot of things to do there & you can eat all you want at the banquet. Followed by an one & a half hour show. The show was really speechless.

( FOUR )

Day Five
Since it’s the last day to do what we had to do, we did a little last minute shopping and settle in for spa massage. Gosh, it’s so relaxing. I missed it most! Oh, but before that, we just had to jump into the pool, what’s deluxe pool access for, right?

Day Six
Bye Phuket… HELLOOOO, SINGAPURA, tanah air ku!

I miss PHUKET already. I wish we can just be there for the longest time and not worry about anything. Lastly, a HUGE thanks to BF, it’s so sweet of him to “sponsor” part of my holiday. Without him, my holiday trips can never happen. I feel so safe around him. How can i not love that guy? I LOVE YOUUUU! The memories are priceless!!!

Kukup

Filed in Holiday · Comment?

On 25th, my aunt & uncle decided to bring us to Kukup, Malaysia. Initially, I hesitated as I wasn’t feeling well. Since my sister & cousin wanted to go so much, I gave in. I decided to bring Tacha along as I think it would be as merry as when we were at KL together earlier this year. We sure do share a Kecemasin bond. Despite my bad sore throat, I enjoyed myself & I’m sure they did too. :cheery:

Selamat Datang ke Kukup, Malaysia.
(Welcome to Kukup, Malaysia)

We were greeted by a hungry & angry monkey.
But it was kind enough stop eating & pose for me. Say Banana!

Very true indeed, Pictures paint a thousand word.

We went at the wrong timing actually. It was high tide, causing that flood at the entrance. Bad huh? We had to find an alternative (pain-arse) way as the current was quite strong.

The water level was quite high (till the calf of our leg). With little fishes from the sea in there. How on earth are we gonna walk through you tell me?! We were shouting at the top of our lungs.

But in the end, we overcome our fears. We didn’t want to leave.

This 350m of platform leads to a jetty.

At the end of the Jetty, you will find this interesting information.
Try reading the trivia.

There, you can find pure serenity & enjoy the sea breeze.
Just wonderful!

I love going with my uncle. He will keep asking me to snap this & that. He will ask us to pose & he takes beautiful pictures! Maybe my next photography assignment, I should ask him along.

Moving on to the observation tower. The wooden stairs are scary! They are steep & far apart from each other. I think I can fit in the gaps. But the scenery from the top was awesome!

Minus this funny sign!
Akhir kata dari Kukup, “Dilarang membuat maksiat!!!”
(No hanky panky allowed!!!)

After that, we had a sumptuous seafood lunch. And before dusk, we were already in Singapore. But we didn’t stop there, we went Bugis to shop! Satisfaction! :star: Proceed to Gallery.

Ok, that’s all folks. Till I decide if I should change my domain. Please do help me by voting at the sidebar. Voting ends on the night of 31st December 2007. Thank you!

Weekend Getaway: KL

Filed in Holiday · Comment?

I’m back!

My weekend (7/12 - 9/12) getaway destination this time: Orchard? Sentosa? Nah.. KL, Malaysia! Went to KL with BF & his family, Iss, Ai & Shari. We did a lot of shopping. I’m very much satisfied with my shopping. Till I didn’t bother to capture a lot of pictures as we were too busy with it. Thus, I need to rely on Ai’s & Tacha’s camera this time.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Hotel we stayed at, Vistana

First day shopping spree

Very contented shoppers

Second day shopping (whole longg day)

Time to leave

Our journey home was greeted by heavy rain
& i got to take this shot

Full gallery here.

Anyway, Iss, Ai, Shari, BF & I had to get back to Singapore on Sunday while others (Tacha & family) plan to stay till Tuesday. However, they cut their trip short and got back on Monday, when BF’s little brother started to suffer from food poisoning (or something). It was very bad. He had diarrhea & frequent vomiting throughout the whole night.

On Monday morning, BF got those symptom & I had high fever, later that night. When BF called his mom in KL to tell about his condition, only to find out that the rest of this family members got it too. All of them had diarrhea & frequent vomiting. I don’t know which food caused this. But please do be careful if you were to consume any food there.

Today, my high fever just subsided but still feeling weak (that explains my current blogging & the delay of this entry). BF & family is getting better too. Thank god.

Despite the food poisoning/germs/virus, I still enjoy my holiday & shopping with all of them. I am very very grateful to BF & family.
Thank you.
